Top 10 Cheapest Laptops with Backlit Keyboard
1) Acer Aspire 5 Slim Laptop,
Acer’s Aspire 5 really is an aspirational machine, with its slimline design and base configuration of Windows 8 – but no touchscreen.
The styling of the Acer Aspire 5 (A515-51G-55FD) isn’t quite what we’ve come to expect from an Acer machine; it’s much sleeker and more elegant than most of its peers on the market. There are elements that suggest its price point – for example, the lid is a fingerprint magnet and the underside gets very warm when in use. However, for a 15.6-inch machine, it’s very slim which is one of the Acer Aspire 5’s most redeeming features.
The keyboard layout is lovely – with a full-size keypad and no squashed-up letter keys. The only problem is the function key on the top row is small and not very intuitive – you need to hit Fn+F1 to bring up your Favourites list.
The Acer Aspire 5 has onboard Intel graphics, which isn’t surprising given that it’s an entry-level laptop with a low-voltage Intel Core i3 processor.
What we found impressive was that despite the lack of a discrete graphics card, it didn’t take long for 1080p video to buffer when watching YouTube – and there was no noticeable stuttering in Full HD when playing movies from Google’s streaming service either.
2) HP Pavilion X360 14-Inch Convertible Laptop,
HP has set out to produce a slim and stylish laptop that will draw the attention of many potential customers. Even with its less than average touchpad and keyboard, this is definitely one of the best laptops on the market. It almost reaches its full potential in being an all-round laptop, save for a few niggling faults at this price range.
The look of the HP Pavilion X360 is a sleek and stylish all-black design, with a number pad on the right hand side. When closed, it looks small and neat. There are long vents to release heat from the chipset, which I thought was a good idea as laptops tend to get very hot if not given vents. The HP Pavilion X360 has only one USB 3.0 port, which is quite limiting. On the other hand it comes with two USB 2.0 ports and a small HDMI slot if you want to hook it up to an external monitor.
There is no more powerful computationally than the HP Pavilion x360. This laptop merges innovative technologies to deliver a product that is unparalleled in its category. It has a sleek design that will make your friends envious; it features an aggressive Intel Core i7 processor which contributes to its speed and responsiveness. Add to that its graphics card with widescreen HD display and you have a laptop that is as captivating as it is functional.
HP Pavilion x360 has an automatic backlit keyboard which allows for easy typing in all lighting conditions. It has a touchscreen feature which makes using your device more intuitive, especially when browsing the web or watching movies. It features a full-sized keyboard that allows you to type comfortably and quickly. It has a memory card reader that enables you to upload data on the go.
The HP Pavilion x360 is great for running Internet-based applications, watching HD movies and videos, listening to music, browsing the web, or playing games. It’s just right for people who want to carry their work anywhere. It’s also perfect for students who need to be connected when they’re away from the classroom, just like when you’re in the comfort of your home. Not only does it allow you to connect easily to wireless networks but it can also switch seamlessly between them without any hassle or interruption to performance.

The power button is the only thing on top while two USB 3.0 ports and a headset jack can be found on the right side. It has an SD card reader, Kensington lock slot and a Noble security slot for anti-theft measures. You’ll find the majority of ports on the left side (where you’ll also find a USB Type-C port and HDMI output).
The backlit keyboard is comfortable to type on and we found the trackpad easy to use, with it being smooth and accurate. We thought both viewing angles were good enough for most people but we’d like to have seen better viewing angles from the top.
The 14-inch full HD display has a matte finish which means that there’s no glare while typing if you’re in a bright room. We found the display was good in terms of colour, contrast and clarity. Also, the efficiency of typing will increase because your fingers will less likely miss keystrokes compared to using a smaller keyboard.
The keys produce enough tactile feedback so that you don’t have to press them down as hard for it to work or feel like they aren’t working. which is what I experienced with my old laptop (dell). The keys are pretty silent and the backlight makes it easier to type in low-light conditions.

Cheapest Laptops With Backlit Keyboards Buying Guide.
Most of people may absolutely not know what backlit keyboards are, but if you imagine the keyboard is a piano then it’s like one of the keys on your piano can emit light.
Most laptop with this feature is priced quite high due to its rarity. But now in recent years there are more and more models that come with this function at surprisingly low price. And we will list and compare those cheapest backlit laptops with a reasonable price and high quality for you to choose from.
More about what a backlit keyboard is and how it can improve your experience as a whole, just keep on reading.
A laptop with a backlit keyboard is very important for gamers and people who use their laptops in the dark or at night. They are just more convenient than using a flashlight or lamp to see what you’re typing and working on. Of course, they also come in handy when typing some long password while outside on a sunny day. It’s really a matter of convenience and just makes life easier.
When you talk about laptops, design is not something that comes to mind immediately. But when the time comes for a laptop with backlit keyboard it automatically becomes an important factor in making a decision on what laptop to buy and why?
There are basically two ways of adding an illuminated effect in laptops. Some are designed with a light bar or other similar implementations under the chassis where the keyboard is, which glows in the dark. It works well for those who don’t type much at night although I feel it could have been implemented slightly better to make it glow brighter and also if only there was some kind of control for brightness that would be nice.
The second way is where the keys are backlit by LEDs that are close to them somewhere in between each key or at least on the left and right side of each key. This helps illuminate pretty much all the letters evenly unlike the other implementation, but still not as good as it could have been because if you look up close, you can make out that the LEDs are not illuminating all the key letters evenly.
The closest example I can give you is one of those neon lights we use to hang outside our house and they tend to be slightly brighter at one end than the other, this happens with even a regular LED light but it’s much more noticeable in an illuminated laptop keyboard like these ones because there is a much lesser gap between the LEDs and the key letters compared to a neon light.
2) Processor and Storage.
Laptop makes, as the name implies, a laptop. It is known for its portability and high processing power.
The first issue was with some glitches in the new Microsoft Windows 8 operating system. In some cases the sound stopped working. This caused Microsoft to drop some of their more stringent hardware requirements for Sound Blaster compatibility, which allowed laptop manufacturers to use lower quality sound cards.
This was fixed with an upgrade to the Intel i7 processor, which greatly increased processing power over previous processors, as well as a built in SSD drive. This allowed for USB 3.0 compatibility and high speed data transfer rates even from low powered devices such as flash drives. The laptop now boots quicker than most desktop computers and battery life is about an hour.
The display of a laptop is very important as it is how you interact with your machine. Without the screen there would be no way for you to work, play games or watch videos on your computer. There are many aspects that determine if your display will function correctly and we hope we can help make choosing the right one easy.
It seems that almost every major computer manufacturer is starting to produce laptops with high resolution displays of 2560×1440 pixels. Dell’s current lineup includes the Alienware 14, which has a 14″ display with this resolution.
4) Adjustable Brightness level.
Sadly, not all of us can afford a new laptop on a regular basis. That’s why we have to find ways to extend the life of our laptops as much as possible.
Since most laptops nowadays use LED or some other similar technology for their backlight system, what you want is to prolong its lifetime by reducing the brightness level as much as possible.
Since there are no hardware solutions of brightness control on laptops, what you want is to use some software solution for that purpose.
We’ve been able to find the cheapest laptops with backlit keyboards. You can now make a more educated decision on which laptop is right for you and your budget, as well as what features are important to you.
